Pathways Team Members Invest in Leadership Development at Aims Community College
Great leadership requires a willingness to keep learning, listen to different perspectives and look for better ways to solve problems.
Recently, Pathways team members Natalie Petersen, Nicole Prins, Shannon Neely and Kris Whitfield joined several hundred others for a full day of leadership development at the Spotlight Speaker Series hosted by Aims Community College.
The event focused on three timely and important areas of leadership: navigating change, elevating diverse ideas and solving what’s not working. The day provided participants with opportunities to learn from speakers, exchange ideas and consider how they can apply new approaches in their own organizations and communities.
Dan Heath was the final speaker of the day. After his presentation, Natalie, Nicole, Shannon and Kris took advantage of the opportunity to connect with him for some impromptu idea generation — and, naturally, a quick photograph for social media!
We’re proud to see Pathways team members investing in their continued growth and development.
Bringing new ideas and perspectives back to our work helps us continue to learn, adapt and find meaningful ways to support the people and communities we serve.
Thank you to Aims Community College for hosting the Spotlight Speaker Series and bringing so many people together for a day focused on thoughtful leadership, collaboration and positive change.
