Pathways Hospice Community Care for Northern Colorado

Volunteering at Pathways Hospice

Volunteers truly are at the heart of Pathways Hospice care, providing support to patients, families and Pathways Hospice staff. Today, over 200 volunteers work in almost every department of Pathways Hospice. Some offer patients companionship and provide caregivers much needed respite; others help out behind the scenes, working in the office or planning events; others offer specialized professional services such as photography, tax preparation or massage therapy.

Whatever your skills, interests and motivations, our community is strengthened by your volunteer involvement. THANK YOU!

Contact the Volunteer Services office to apply or if you have any questions about volunteering.

Why do our volunteers donate their time with Pathways Hospice?

They find personal satisfaction in helping others.

They have been touched by hospice within their own families.

They want to give something back to their community.

They find insight and meaning in their own lives by being present as people deal with the profound issues of life and death.

They wish to learn new skills that go to the core of human relationships.

Many say they find the spiritual and emotional rewards they experience far outweigh the time and caring they contribute.
