PATHWAYS offers grief support to anyone in our community who has experienced the death of a loved one, regardless of hospice involvement. Our programs help people gain strength and draw healing through connection, understanding and mutual support.

While the loss of a loved one is a life-changing experience, people often face similar changes when they or someone they love has a serious illness. We offer support during these times of stress and change as well.

PATHWAYS comprehensive grief support

Our community-centered and holistic approach to grief support acknowledges that death affects people in every part of our lives. Based on 30 years of bereavement care, we have developed and refined the PATHWAYS programs to accommodate the personal and relational needs of individuals, families, and friends.
Because people grieve in different and uniquely personal ways, PATHWAYS offers many grief support options. To support the needs unique to losing a parent, spouse, child, friend or co-worker, PATHWAYS offers specific services and programs themed on these relationships. PATHWAYS addresses the distinctive needs of different age groups through programs tailored to seniors, adults, adolescents and children. We also provide one-on-one, family and group counseling provide for individual attention as well as mutual support and connection. PATHWAYS additionally offers creative therapy through writing and art.
Throughout the year we offer specialty PATHWAYS programs such as “Surviving the Holidays When You're Grieving,” “Kids, Horses and Healing,” and support groups for people coping with chronic illnesses.
PATHWAYS counselors & educators
PATHWAYS programs draw upon our knowledge base of experienced counseling professionals. Recognized as leaders in bereavement care, many also have specialized training and expertise, including art therapy, children’s play therapy, and pregnancy or infant loss.
Our knowledgeable educators offer programs and provide offsite consultation in schools, organizations and workplaces.
