A Sunset Safari
A Sunset Safari benefitting Bulawayo Island Hospice in Bulawayo,
Zimbabwe took place on August 29th. Over 250 people attended the
event at Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra in Loveland. Guests
were greeted with a Malawi Shandy, a traditional African beverage,
and had the opportunity to tour the sculpture park with founder
Roy Guthrie. Guests enjoyed traditional African dishes prepared
by Bent Fork Grill and music from Zimbabwe performed by Kutandara.
As the sun set on the park, guests danced the night away. The event
raised over $9,000 for Bulawayo Island Hospice.
The funds will allow Bulawayo Island Hospice to continue operations
in an area that is in desperate need of humanitarian relief.
